Weird thing: being an actor, I like musical theatre, and there’s a current documentary about the Broadway show, “A Chorus Line” that I’ve been raving about. Get this, one of the exec. producers has my exact name (including the middle initial: Christopher C. Chen)! SHEESH! They/He also produced a doc. about Chinese basketball player, Yao Ming … now there’s a unique name!)

Also actor-related, although I snagged our name in all the unions (SAG, AFTRA, Equity), there’s a child actor with our name. I get his mailings from SAG for kid events and my agent asked me once if I was with a diff. agency (must’ve been his)? If you imdb us, ya get a few of us (I’m the “II” one)?

Here’s prob. the biggest issue I’ve had with OUR name … I go by “Chris” in reg. life and, if you put “Chris-Plus-Chen” you get all the “What religion are you?” jokes. Fave/Least Fave since second grade: “Hey, Chris Chen, are you Jewish?” Lame.

But it was nice to rant a bit to a fellow Christopher Chen.

(And what’s the deal with “google image search” … my face never pops up … just who are these poser Christopher Chen’s? Kidding.)
